ABOUT
After having earned a degree in Art History with a final dissertation on the Greek Goldsmith, the artist attended a Goldsmith School and at the same time a renowned silverware workshop in Rome. In 2002 she started her workshop and spreads her creations through personal exhibitions or during important jazz music festivals and by lending her works for films and television dramas.
In recent years she has devoted herself exclusively to contemporary jewelery as the application of classical techniques to the transmission of social messages.. The jewel thus becomes an "wearable" instrument of denunciation, not only an embellishment but to make people reflects on the world around us in every aspect and criticality.
In each collection / work there is a compromise between the narrative needs and the wearability of the jewel with some exceptions where inspiration and expressive needs take over. The lost wax micro sculpture is the chosen technique declined in silver, bronze and gold; these are accompanied by epoxy resin and more recently with glassblowing piece.
Awarded at Artistar Jewels in 2019, she also exhibited during the last three editions of the Romanian Jewelry Week in Bucharest, at Autor Fair, in Madrid and in the 1st international meeting of contemporary jewelry in Simancas.
In 2022 she was invited to exhibit in Milan during Salone del mobile, at the Baltimore jewelry center and at SNAG conference 2022 - Adorned spaces, Providence, at 6th Biennial of Contemporary Jewelry at the National Museum of Arts in Lithuania, in Bucharest for Romanian Jewelry week 3.0 and was selected for Tincallab challenge at Tincal lab, Porto (Portugal) closing the year in London for Cluster Fair.
In 2023 was part of REVOLUTION - Vision of woman life freedom, virtual exhibition organized by SNAG Metalsmith and two Iranian artists that live in the USA to give a contribution to Iranian protests.
During summer in Timisoara for contemporary jewelry exhibition and at Chisinau Natural History Museum. In October she attended ROMANIAN JEWELRY WEEK 4.0
2024 bring new skills that add the chance to bring borosilicate glass made by myself in the new collection.
Nata e cresciuta a Roma dove si laurea in Storia dell’Arte con una tesi sull’oreficeria greca, frequenta parallelamente all’Università una Bottega orafa romana ed in seguito la Scuola di Oreficeria di Salvatore Gerardi. Nel 2002 avvia il suo studio e veicola le proprie creazioni attraverso esposizioni personali o durante importanti Festival di musica Jazz della capitale e prestando le sue opere per film e fiction televisive. Negli ultimi anni si dedica esclusivamente al gioiello contemporaneo inteso come applicazione delle tecniche classiche alla trasmissione di messaggi di carattere sociale. Il gioiello diventa così strumento di denuncia “indossabile” atto non solo ad abbellire ma a far riflettere sul mondo che ci circonda in ogni suo aspetto e criticità. In ogni collezione/opera si manifesta il compromesso tra le necessità narrative e la portabilità del gioiello con qualche deroga li dove l’ispirazione e le necessità espressive prendono il sopravvento. La micro scultura a cera persa è la tecnica d’elezione declinata in argento, bronzo ed oro; a questi si affianca la resina epossidica e la creazione in 3d di piccole miniature. Premiata ad Artistar Jewels nel 2019, espone poi anche durante le ultime due edizioni della Romanian Jewelry Week a Bucharest, ad Autor Fair, a Madrid e nel I° meeting internazionale di gioielleria contemporanea di Simancas e presso la Galleria Rossini in occasione del Salone del mobile 2022 A settembre è stata invitata ad esporre durante la 6th Biennale di gioielleria contemporanea presso il Museo delle Arti in Lituania, partecipa poi alla Romanian Jewelry week 3.0, selezionata poi da Tincal lab gallery a Porto per il Tinclalab challenge 2022 e chiude il 2022 a Londra partecipando a Cluster Fair.

Febbraio mostra itinerante dal 2 fino alla fine del mese per la presentazione della nuova collezione ispirata al Jazz “In a sentimental mood”. Alexander Platz – Teatro de Servi – laboratorio. In questa occasione si è occupata della mostra MTV Flash, video giornale di MTV Italia;
Luglio, esposizione “Argentango” – gioielli che danzano, Il Giardino del Tango, Roma,
presta i suoi gioielli per la serie televisiva CRIMINI;
